Has anyone had their hair pulled out like this and how long did it take to grow back, if at all?

First of all, how old are your two boys?? Who is younger? The one who pulled the hair, or the little guy who got it pulled out!?

Secondly... I'd be more concerned about your son's violent behavior than if the others hair will grow back.

And third... Yes, I'm sure it will grow back. I've had my hair pulled out by some !@#$% during a fight, and I'm doing okay.

BUT-please! be careful with your boy who this happened to. I hope you spoke with the one who did the hair pulling and told him that was a big NO-NO! How would he like his hair yanked out!? The little brat!

I agree -- thanks for the replies to my question. I did shave my son's hair 3 days ago and did notice some stubbles growing back in some of the bald spots, but none yet in a few of the spots. But, as you mentoned, they probably will, it will just take longer. Report It

It will grow back. It will take as long as normal hair, maybe a few weeks longer but it will be OK. Why don't you buzz his whole head, so it will grow evenly?

Did you whip your sons butt, you need to find out where he is getting all that anger from. His hair may grow back depending on whether or not it was pulled out a certain way.

I am sure that will grow back we had that happen at a day care I worked out...two twin sisters ALWAYS pulled the others hair out and if grew back just fine...if you are concerned about how it looks just shave his head bald...good luck

.Of course it will grow back, but it depends on the time it will take, think about how often you have to cut your sons hair, if its every 2 to 4 weeks, then by that time you wont be able to see the bald spots, but the hair will be uneven, so you might want to cut it all off if its very noticable, because schools starting back soon, and you dont want your son to be embarrased. it will grow back it will take 1-2 weeks or so to start to see stumps.

My daughter vacumed my other daughters hair and when her hair got wrapped around the brush she yanked it out. She had a huge bald line in her head for about 2 weeks. She is very tender headed now though so keep that in mind.

His hair might take while to grow because it was force out not a haircut and his hair should grow as long as no hair removal products was used.

It will grow back. You did not mention how old the son was who pulled his brother's hair out. I'd say that thebigger issue is why he is doing this and that you need to address this problem.

It sounds like you have no control on your children...please seek some sort of help. They should not be having this kind of violence where one child has to loose their hair. Just my humble opinion....Good luck!

My hair was pulled out from extensions. Sucked. It has been 3 months and it is now JUST starting to grow stub in some of the areas, not all. But, then again I was/am stressing about it which doesn't help.
